Resolved Question: How can I make 100 euros?

I don't want to receive wealthy over night or receive a lot of cash, I just need 100 euros to pay the advance for the summer vacation. I know webdesign, but I don't know how I could put that into value considering that nobody wants websites these days. I could also translate for people, but again, during this crisis, nobody wants this. Please help? The reason why I'm not getting a job is because the legislation here doesn't allow me to receive time off for the first year, and I need the money for that vacation so it would be a paradox.

Open Question: How do you put a css rollover image code into a sliced layout ?

I am learning HTML and CSS ... I slice and code my layouts in Photoshop, I make my rollover image code in DW that I learned from this page "http://www.webdesign.org/html-and-css/tutorials/how-to-make-rollover-buttons-using-dreamweaver-in-less-than-5-minutes.8332.html" I can not figure out how to receive that rollover code into my actual sliced layout code ... Does anyone know any tutorials or how to do this ? I can not figure out how to receive the actual css code into the sliced layout code ... When I try and take the normal link and image out of the code and exchange it for the css code it makes the layout go every over the place or it just puts it over the normal button.

I have been shopping around for websites...what are some of the best registars? I am talking I receive alot for little. I would also want .com name, web hosting, web designer, templates etc. I checked out justhost.com and it seems like a killer deal with the promo codes and deals...but they make you pay every the total at once...can this be avoided at every? Resolved Question: How do you take high quality images like these?

Meaning, every the facial detail is clear, he file size is big, and can easily be edited. I only know to use RAW as it will help my photoshop work. Also, low ISO I believe and wide angle lens or low depth of field, not zoomed in. what else? okay sooo, im a junior in high school ( technically a senior ;D ) anyways, ive been learning the Adobe CS3 programs, i am good at dreamweaver , flash and illustrator.. anyways i got a web design job (i think i did, i had the interveiw today and he liked me :D ) and they use wordpress and they are trying to remake their site... but i didnt understand half the stuff he was talking about.. ( webdesign talk ) and i think he thinks i knew what he was talking about :( but he already has the site made... he needs me because they have this login area for customers and theres pdfs, videos, mp3's and such... and he needs to copy or transfer them over to the new site. umm so i have some questions... dreamweaver is a WYSIWYG program... is wordpress? i tried downloading wordpress from wordpress.com .. and it showed up and i dont know what to do next... ( im on a mac ) is wordpress better then dreamweaver? he said that he thinks its the "future" but i think any wysiwyg program is better.... :L anyways... please helpp. i NEED some word press tutorials. i already made a wordpess account / blog. Resolved Question: joomla based form data question?

Im using joomla and while not new to webdesign entirely i am new to joomla and php. I am trying to design a situation where a user fills one of many forms out (forms that can be filled out multiple times if the user wishes) then saves them adding them to a data base. my main issue now that the forms are up is that i need to know is this the right platform for what i need? because what i really need is for the user when logged in on their front page lists the forms they have filled out and allows them to click one and view the data they put into the form for printing or reviewing as needed. Example: user logs in has links to different forms on the left hand side they click add for one of the forms fills out the data and it returns to their homepage where the main content will list links to the forms they have already filled out they can click and review not change but allow them to print. welcome user1 logout add form 1....................... name1form 1 submitted 11/5/2009 add form 2....................... name1form 2 submitted 11/20/2009 add form 3....................... name2form 1 submitted 01/01/2010 ........................................ name1form 3 submitted 01/12/2010 ........................................ name2form 2 submitted 06/05/2010 where the name*form* is a link to the data they previously submitted yet they can add more of the same form again... does anyone know of a form plugin that would allow such actions im not asking for code but the smart former just doesnt seem as "flexible" as it states it is and their support is extremely quick and friendly but in an email i received I was told to go with smart former gold (of course the commerical version) which is fine not out of reach but then later in the same email said that even smart former gold doesn't exactly have support for this for front-end use. Im willing to switch CMS to another nice if it takes that this is a very much needed option for my users. what im looking for is something to allow users to keep to a database that i can access to tug their specific input information from to display it on their front page when loged in then allow them to click each instance of a saved form they've submitted to review the data within the form they select of which they previously submitted. smart former already allows the email function that the below offers as well as saving to a database but there seems to be no way to tug information from that database for the user.

Hi, for a tiny personal business operated out of a residence + office. Doing webdesign, photography, videography what is the simplest for of govt registration i can receive to just receive a licence that im doing these services below the name XYZ design services. One guy suggested getting a tiny Scale Industries licence. But if i receive this will i receive into more problems of any nice than benefit ? Since im just an individual business enterpreneur. All of my life I have used a pc running windows. I am currency in the market to receive a new computer since my uses for it have greatly improved from just surfing to advance webdesign and graphics. I am tossing around a few computers. One being a Mac. I am looking at the MacBook pro with the intel i7 processor. It is more expensive then the pc, but my question is, is it worth it? Voting Question: Is it possible to configure a linux distribution in a way so it becomes as reliable as OS X (Snow Leopard)?

I found a tutorial (which surely is outdated) explaining how to make a Linux distribution look like OS X: http://maketecheasier.com/turn-your-ubuntu-intrepid-into-mac-osx-leopard/2009/01/08 Although I still doubt the OS would "behave" as reliable as the original. What I am actually interested in: Is it possible to configure (through settings of the OS, certain programs and/or patches) a Linux distribution to be as stable, snappy and consistent (Interface-wise) as OS X Snow Leopard is? Which type of hardware would be necessary when talking about laptops and/or tablets? I would be glad to receive an answer from a Linux expert, who can tell me if it's possible to reach at least 90% of the original's overall quality. I am aware a huge amount of effort has gone into the software and the design of the user experience of OS X and that what I am looking for won't be accomplished through some cosmetic changes. But maybe something like this already exists somewhere? Why do I ask? Through the recent years I became a heavy user of OS X (walking away from Windows 2K and Windows XP) and the reliable combination of hardware and software. The last few months reminded me of the negative aspects of the company's way. I became curious if it was possible to switch to a different platform while keeping most of the important (high graphic performance, intelligent UI, security, terminal for quicker access of certain features) aspects of the original OS. Appropriate software for such a newly configured Linux seems to be available as far as I know. Which should make it possible to go on fulfilling the writing (Neo Office), graphic design (inkscape) and webdesign (NVU) tasks I need to accomplish with my machine. Thanks for your input.

Resolved Question: Was I lied to, abandoned and used?

Ok, here is the story: I met a girl online. The total amount of time that we spent talking is probably about 6-7 months, maybe a little longer. We talked on and off, we had things in common and after about 4 months, things started to take off. We were talking more often, sharing more with each other and then we started talking on webcam. After this, things started getting serious and intense. We really started to like each other and talked everyday for hours. We are both musicians and we started our possess music project and started making music together too. I eventually flew up to meet her, which was in Buffalo at the time. I spent 2 nights with her, it went well. We were intimate, enjoyed each others company and had a good time together. When I got home, everything continued to go well, and then things started to change about 2-3 weeks later. Now before I go into that, let me explain a bit about what was problematic about us. I am 23 years old, she is 29 years old. I didn't mind at every, but I know she did. When I met her, she had just ended a 5 year relationship with her fiance. She was extremely hurt by it and had lost her job because of it, her apartment, her dog and her purpose. She was so depressed that she checked herself into a mental hospital. She is on three different forms of anti-depressants, has attempted suicide multiple times, and has had serious drinking/drug problems. She was at a very confused, dark and depressing time in her life. When she met me, it really seemed like I had brought joy in her life and it made me glad to make her glad. The way she would grin at me, look at me, kiss me and hold onto me, it really touched me. I had never been in adore before, and I felt like I was. She said to me "i never thought I would adore again" and I think she felt the same way about me. We never fought and always had a good chemistry. It was just a beautiful connection between us. She had an apartment set up to move into in Buffalo, we were taking about moving in together and we were going to take our music as far we could go. Now, 2-3 weeks after I met her, she told me she was taking a trip out to Europe for a business proposition. I was glad she was getting work opportunities, but I wasn't thrilled about it being in Europe. Her flight out there was cancelled because of that volcanic ash and she flew back to California where she used to live with her ex, and she had items in storage there she wanted to bring back to Buffalo. The last time I really heard from her (as I knew her) was on the plane to California, where she called me and told me she missed me and she would call when she lands, which she never did. It's not like her to not call me at every. I tried calling her and she wouldn't pick up. I tried texting her an I wouldn't receive a response. This started to go on for days, and it really started to scare me. I was just hoping she was alright. There wasn't any news of a plane accident, so she landed ok. I don't remember how long it was, but I started to feel like something was wrong. This is just completely unlike her, to not respond to any calls, emails, text messages or anything. It was then that I saw on her facebook that she had taken down her status as being "single." She didn't put anything up, she just took it down. Then someone commented on it "what does this mean?" and she said "I think it's pretty obvious :)" At this time, I was in such a state of horror and confusion, I tried everything I could to receive ahold of her and I just couldn't. I became weak and I was starting to loose my mind. Finally, I got in touch with her and she told me she is seeing a pal that got her a job out in California in this webdesign company. She didn't even explain fully why this happened, I could barely talk and she said she wanted to talk more about things when she has time, she's extremely busy with work right now. For about 2-3 months, I waited for her to have time to talk, talking maybe 5 mins every week. I couldn't help but tell her how I felt about her, and try to be there for her as much as I could. She would tell me she loves me and misses me, and considers me one of her best friends that she loves dearly, and wants to be a part of my life in whatever capacity she can. I would hear from her less and less, and finally I pressed her on what is happening, and she told me that she fell for this guy and she has been putting off being my pal because of how i feel about her and is sorry that she led me on and has hurt me. I told her how much she really has hurt me, I didn't threaten or insult her, I just told her how much she broke my heart and tore apart my soul. This whole experience has pretty much ruined my life for the past 4 months. With the little feedback from her, talking to over a 100 people about this, I have gathered that she used me, abandone

Resolved Question: Small Claims: Suing someone from another state?

I live in Massachusetts. I created a websdesign for a business owner who lives in Ohio and she never paid me the final payment due. She also hired me for a year of service to maintain and update the website for her. Because of that, I gave her a discount on the actual webdesign cost. She's on a monthly payment plan (paid in full within 4 months) because it was a big job and she couldn't afford it every upfront. I was fine with that below the condition that the site isn't *live* until I receive the final payment and that the work was staggered... meaning that as I'm paid, I do a certain amount of work. That way, I protect myself from getting screwed by completing the entire job and not ever getting paid. She made 2 payments. the 3rd payment was due in May and she missed it. So I stopped working and contacted her about it. She gave me a bunch of reasons (funeral and had to go away for a week for it) she couldn't pay and that the payment was absolutely coming 'in 2 weeks' when she got back from the family funeral receive-together. I was stupid and continued working on the site in good faith, but I never got the payment. I still haven't seen it. At this point she still owes me May and June's payment, which was supposed to be the final one. So I removed the content from the server, as I stated in our contract I would do, until she sends the payment, which she agreed to. I mailed her and she wrote back about how sorry she was and she's just been really busy. I didn't work on the site anymore but she never sent the payment in July, either. So I gave her until August 1st to make the payments in full before I pursue legal action. I have a feeling she has no intention of paying. So I'm trying to find out what my options are in the case she does blow me off. She owes 1400 dollars and we have a contract stating so. I'd like to sue her for what she owes me, but I'm not sure how it works. I read the tiny claims information on the 'official' website for Massachusetts but it didn't go into detail about how to do this in a case like mine with the defendant living in another state. I just hate to let her receive away with it while I did 3 months worth of work and the site is now 90% done. Also, the actual cost of the design has already been paid, and the money she owes me now is simply for the year's update service. It was nice of like a coupon, where if you buy the service, you receive *huge* % off the design. The only reason the design was as cheap as it was is because I gave her a deal contingent on her buying the service. So I'm worried that a judge would rule that she already paid for the design and since I haven't technically had to do any of the 'service', they'd call it even. I feel that she should then have to pay the original design cost if she's not going to pay for discounted plan. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated! 'Like a coupon' means that the final price of the design is ONLY contingent on buying the plan, like a coupon at as store (buy 1 product at full price, receive something else free, etc). she's paying full price for the service which gives her the design half off. She has to pay for the service in order to receive the design at that price. I've also stated this in the contract. The contract is bulletproof, as far as I know. The contract states that full payment for both the design AND service plan must be received whether or not she forfeits the service plan or closes the business. I'm just worried that a judge will let it go if she gives him a sob story or something. honestly, i'd be glad just getting the money i'm owed from the contract.

Resolved Question: I'm 14 and I would like to start a record label. How would I go about doing this?

I'm 14 and living in Cambridge in the UK. I would like to start up my possess record label with some friends to earn abit of money and gain early experience in the music industry. I have been drumming for 2 years and have been in and out of bands. I have over average computer and web design skills for my age. I have researched a little about how I could go about this, and the process seems rather simple. However, I need to know if I am legally allowed at my age to start a record label that would technically be a business. I am also aware that starting this business would require a bit of dosh to start with. I need to know how cheaply I can start off. Our plan is to start by signing tiny, unsigned local bands as well as self labeling our possess band. We would provide services such as webdesign and selling the music (on iTunes? another thing I need some help with :S). I do not have recording equipment available apart from some basic stuff in our school music department.
